Teacher’s PETS Virtual Academy (TPVA) is an online school that provides college-prep education, job training, and etiquette courses in all subjects for elementary, middle, and high school students. Choosing the right school makes all the difference. TPVA uses the Stride Learning Solutions (FuelEd) Curriculum, enhanced with The Royal Experience (social-emotional learning and character education) and Bible Curriculum. These courses are ideal for students who supplement their existing homeschool or traditional school portfolio with a highly flexible, affordable, and individualized learning experience.
Students of TPVA can do school anytime, anywhere. The flexibility is an advantage. Students can often finish a day’s worth of coursework with spare time, allowing them to pursue other interests. High school students can even explore occupations and try jobs during hours most high school students aren’t available.
An exceptional individualized curriculum that covers core subject areas and beyond. Flexible to learn anytime, anywhere on your schedule.

Would your student benefit from a virtual school?
At Teacher’s PETS Virtual Academy, we know the power of personalized learning. And we understand that families have different requirements when deciding what works for them in their education choices. That’s why we offer a range of high-quality education options to help meet the needs of diverse learners.
Our Commitment
At Teacher’s PETS Virtual Academy, we believe “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow” is more than a tagline—it’s an underlying philosophy. We are uniquely positioned to promote diversity and inclusion in the classroom and beyond for students, teachers, and all those involved in preparing our young people for successful futures. In addition to our existing programs, we are committing to the following new diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Teacher’s PETS Virtual Academy school admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate based on race, color, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen our communities, where we believe every child gets a new chance every day.
Our Vision
We aim to raise emotionally balanced, socially compassionate, and caring individuals with a solid value system with the Stride Learning Solutions (FuelEd) Curriculum and The Royal Experience Curriculum. Recent studies have shown that emotional intelligence (EI) is as central to a child’s success and fulfillment as good grades and a college degree. Etiquette seeks to enhance the EI of children by encouraging them to express and discuss their emotions, thereby improving their social sensitivity and public behavior.
Achieving Unity Through Innovation
Throughout our school community, we share a commitment to fostering a culture where differences are valued and interactions are free of bias. At TPVA, we nurture the next generation of future leaders. To do so, we love their unique identities, abilities, backgrounds, and points of view. It’s part of fulfilling our vow to make a difference and positively impact. We want our employees, teachers, and scholars in our care to be comfortable sharing their authentic selves. That’s why we need to ensure a wide range of diverse voices are recognized and represented.
Together, we work hard to celebrate diversity, embrace our community, and create a sense of belonging where everyone thrives.
In the Classroom
At TPVA, scholars are encouraged to become critical thinkers and problem solvers. As part of our mission to cultivate a welcoming community, our educators and caregivers model kindness, and empathy. Every scholar deserves to feel safe, represented, and accepted in an inclusive environment that includes:
- Diverse classrooms are vital to learning.
- Engaging, educational experiences.
- Spaces that reflect our diverse communities.
In the Workplace
Our strength comes from the diversity of our team members and their unique perspectives. Our parent company, Teacher’s PETS Inc., takes great pride in cultivating and supporting a work culture where inclusion, diversity, and equity are valued as a fundamental layer of our success. It’s a philosophy infused at every level, from corporate offices to classrooms. The result is a safe, inclusive environment where all team members thrive. Education and diverse training opportunities allow that commitment to reach our scholars, their families, educators, and support staff.
Together, we will have a significant impact.

Your future is out there. Don’t wait for it.
Dropping out of high school is a nationwide problem, with two million students leaving school before graduating each year. According to the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, workers without a high school diploma have the highest rate of unemployment and the lowest median weekly earnings.
*A high school diploma not only helps you take charge of your future by landing a better-paying job, but it can also help launch a career in your field of interest. Plus, it sets you up to attend college—be it a four-year university, community college, or online university—if that’s what you decide to do after high school graduation or sometime in the future.
As a parent, you play an active role by partnering with teachers and your child—while Teacher’s PETS Virtual Academy provides resources, advice, and access to the support of an online parent community.
Like other kids, students at Teacher’s PETS Virtual Academy can socialize through extracurricular clubs and activities—both online and in person.§ In addition to your school’s offerings, K12 has 50+ national online clubs, giving your teen the chance to engage with peers from across the country.
You have unique access to your student’s learning as a parent or guardian. Serving as their “Learning Coach,” you or another trusted adult will help provide the support your child needs to succeed. This may include recording attendance, monitoring mastery of lessons and assessments, addressing challenges as they arise, and, on occasion, reviewing student work.
As your student progresses through the various grade levels, the time commitment for the Learning Coach will change. Younger students need more support from their Learning Coaches, while online middle and high school students can work more independently.
