Teacher’s PETS Inc. is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to helping children and families who are facing hardship. We provide support through educational programs, family resources, sponsorships, hunger relief efforts, and community partnerships that help children access the tools they need to succeed.
Our organization also works alongside Teacher’s PETS Virtual Academy to support homeschool families through curriculum guidance and educational planning. By connecting families to practical support and meaningful opportunities, we help create stronger educational outcomes and healthier communities.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness
Realizing educational equity and excellence will take a broad and diverse coalition of people united around a common purpose and shared values. The change effort must be shaped by those of us most directly impacted by educational inequity. And progress is only possible if we work effectively with students, parents, partners, and others. Creating a safe space for each employee is the top defining quality of an inclusive work environment.
Serving Through Community Engagement
As part of our commitment to youth development and community engagement, Teacher’s PETS Inc. had the opportunity to support a community garden project donated by TVA. Although the garden is not owned by our organization, the experience allowed students and teens to participate in hands-on service while learning lessons in responsibility, teamwork, patience, and community care.
We believe opportunities like this matter because they connect young people to service, practical life lessons, and the value of working together for the good of others.
Serving the Community Through Food Bank Volunteering
Teacher’s PETS Inc. is committed to giving students meaningful opportunities to serve others and engage with their community. Through volunteering at the food bank, students took part in hands-on service that supported local families while teaching lessons in compassion, teamwork, responsibility, and humility.
These service experiences help students see that leadership includes showing up, helping others, and being willing to meet real needs in practical ways.
